The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

It does NOT collect:

Names
Emails
IP addresses
Browsing history

Device identifiers

Any tracking data

No data is sent to external servers or third parties.

2. Local Processing Only

All operations are performed locally on your device.
This includes:

Extracting caption tracks exposed by the video player
Displaying subtitle data
Editing subtitle content
Generating SRT, VTT, or TXT files

No information leaves your browser.

The Extension does not:

Use any cloud services
Use analytics or tracking tools
Load remote scripts
Communicate with developer-owned infrastructure

All functionality is self-contained within the browser.

The Extension may request the following permissions:

`activeTab`

Used to access the currently opened video page in order to extract subtitle tracks.

`scripting`

Used only to inject minimal scripts required to read captions displayed by the video player.

Host permissions (e.g., youtube.com, netflix.com)

Used exclusively to access subtitle files or caption tracks available on supported platforms.

The Extension does not access unrelated browsing data, passwords, or personal information.

5. No DRM Bypass

The Extension does not bypass DRM or decrypt protected video content.
It only accesses subtitle tracks that are already visible or exposed for accessibility by the video player.

The Extension uses no third-party services and integrates no external libraries that transmit data.
